IAF has ordered tri-service investigation into chopper crash : Rajnath Singh in Parliament

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has ordered a tri-administration examination drove via Air Marshal Manavendra Singh, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Training Command, in the Mi 17 V5 chopper crash in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday in which Chief of Defense Staff Bipin Rawat, his significant other Madhulika Rawat and 11 authorities of the Armed Forces were killed.

The request group arrived at Wellington on Wednesday and began the examination, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh told the two Houses of Parliament in an assertion on the chopper crash.

Singh said the Air Force Mi17V5 helicopter took off from Sulur Air Base at 11.48 am and was relied upon to land at Wellington by 12.15 pm.

The Air Traffic Control at Sulur Air Base lost contact with the helicopter at roughly 12.08 pm.

Gen Bipin Rawat was on a planned visit to Defense Services Staff College, Wellington, to cooperate with the understudy officials.

Bunch Captain Varun Singh is in a coma in the Military Hospital at Wellington and all endeavors are being made to save his life, Rajnath said.

The Chief of Defense Staff would be incinerated with full military distinctions. The incineration of different authorities would be finished with “fitting” military distinctions, he said.
