Govt to release onion from buffer stock to check prices

New Delhi, on August 11th, the government took action to control the increasing prices of onions in retail stores. The Department of Consumer Affairs is planning to release 300,000 metric tonnes of onions that have been stored. They will focus on selling them in states where the prices are higher than the average and where the prices have gone up a lot compared to the previous month.
