Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal calls emergency meet to tackle air pollution in Delhi

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday assembled a crisis conference to handle extreme air contamination in the city, with Supreme Court requesting that specialists go to quick lengths.

The gathering, to be held at 5 pm, will be gone to by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Health Minister Satyendar Jain, Environment Minister Gopal Rai and Chief Secretary Rajiv Gauba, authorities said.

In the interim, the Supreme Court named the ascent in air contamination in Delhi-NCR as an “crisis circumstance”, focusing on that urgent measures should have been taken.

The zenith court likewise observed opening of schools in Delhi and requested that specialists go to quick lengths like placing vehicles rough terrain and cinching lockdown in Delhi.
